About Lorien Ray

Lorien Ray is an independently published horror author known for her dark, atmospheric storytelling and psychologically intense narratives. She blends erotic scenes with suspense and gory elements. Her stories often center around complex characters that look like you and me but are sprinkled with insanity.​

Her debut novel, Hello, Listener was praised for it's suspenseful imagery, witty banter between all three of the main characters, and all of the gory details throughout the novel. With background in Psychology and her love for classic literature and horror, Lorien draws inspiration from her favorite older video games, music and 80's slasher films.

When she isn't writing, she can be found in her garden, watching horror movies with her husband, wandering old serene cemeteries and abandoned for more inspiration, or people watching with her Notes app in hand. Lorien believes the best horror stories aren't just about legends of monsters we grew up with as children, but the ones we carry within ourselves.
